The word “Disaster” evokes countless fearful images. It reminds us of the deadly 2005 earthquake that struck the northern areas of Pakistan, killing thousands and leaving millions homeless. In 2010, devastating floods also swept across large parts of Pakistan. Occasional incidents of terrorism, accidents, and other catastrophes have further increased human suffering in the country. Alkhidmat Khawateen Trust Pakistan, committed to serving humanity, has worked tirelessly in disaster management; its contributions during floods, earthquakes, and other calamities are badges of honor for the team.

Alkhidmat Khawateen Trust Pakistan, committed to serving humanity, has worked tirelessly in disaster management; its contributions during floods, earthquakes, and other calamities are badges of honor for the team. Truckloads of food, medicines, clothing, bedding, tarpaulins, and tents are delivered to far‑flung areas during disasters.
Exclusive winter packages are prepared by the Trust’s many women volunteers so that affected families can withstand harsh winters with adequate bedding and clothing.
“Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).” (Muslim Vol. 4, Hadith 6264)
