Marriage Ceremony:
With winter looming in the Himalayan foothills, there are
fears for the safety of tens of thousands of people stranded
in the uplands without adequate food and shelter. Injured
people are dying for lack of medical care. Thousands of survivors
were still living in the open in cold night temperatures.
Panic and horror was found everywhere. At that situation the
concept of Collective Marriage in quake hit zone was beyond
imagination. Al-khidmat Women Trust has not only conceived
the idea but also implemented that efficiently. In this connection
in Balakoat 60, Abatabad 25, Muzafferabad 80, Bagh 60 and
Rawalkoat 50 group marriage ceremony was organized. Apart
from this the arrangement of around 52 in Mansehra, 38 marriages
in Fateh Jang could be possible. In the accomplishment of
this project dowry boxes costing of Rs. 35,00,000(3.5 million)
have been distributed among the needy. Surveying, planning
and arranging of such Marriage Ceremony is not an easy task.
This could be possible only because of sincere efforts of
our team. They came out from them houses and knocked at the
doors for the survival of the sufferings. They asked the people
for the donation, gathered that, purchased the essentials
items of the dowry boxes, packed them, transported them and
distributed them among the victimized. To give the sense of
life, hope, association at the time of disaster, panic etc
is really a remarkable job. This efforts could be possible
only to release oneself from the horror of the dooms day.
Really Al-Khidmat Women Trust has coined a remarkable history
by serving the humanity.
Eid Gift :
Only after rolling 28 days of the earthquake the blessing
of Eid showers on each and every Pakistani. But in the history
of humanity Pakistan has proved its principle of fraternity,
potentiality, brother hoodness , humanity, faith and discipline.
Particularly the Women of Al-Khidmat Women Trust tried to
change the swelling fasces into smiling faces , minimizing
the sense of loneliness by gathering, psychologically rehabilitate
them by serving with pure potentiality. Eid gift packs worth
of Rs. 14 lac rupees were packed and distributed among them.
Each pack contained toys, clothes, shoes, biscuits, toffee,
stationary box, and other things according to their age
groups. The volunteer team of Al-Khidmat Women Trust tied
their belts for Eid-ul Azha and arranged 31lacs and 54 thousand
rupees for sacrificing animals. The meat has not only been
distributed but also roasted meat was also distributed among
the sufferers for physical, psychological, moral and spiritual
relief.

Tent are ceiling supply
and establishment of welfare organization:
AL-Khidmat Woman Trust has continued its’ efforts
providing tent and ceilings to the disastrous. In this connection
tents of worth Rs. 30 lacs have been distributed among them.
Moreover a welfare institute has been established at the
piece of land of Muzaffarabad University. Where a mosque,
a madarsah, an industrial home, an outlet, a stock room
and an residential area has been constructed.
Supply of the Holy Quran
and Prayer mat:
To come out from the vicious circle, to get the path of
glory, to enjoy everlasting remedies, to learn the lesson
of wisdom, to find out the real causes of our destructions,
to know ours efficiency and deficiency Al-Khidmat Women
Trust has arranged the holy Quran and Prayer mat for generating
real sense of worship. 31 lacs, 38 thousand and 500 rupees
has been spent on purchasing of both the things.
Construction:
Al-Khidmat Women Trust has reconstructed a number of demolished
schools and madarsas which were badly damaged by the earth
quake.
